Diving for Beginners: Discover Scuba

Never dived before? Our Discover Scuba Diving program is perfect. After a 30-minute pool training session and safety briefing, a PADI-certified instructor guides you on a shallow reef dive (maximum 12 meters depth). No certification needed.

What Youll See

The reefs near Turtle Island are home to over 100 species of tropical fish, including clownfish (Nemo), moray eels, lionfish, and reef sharks. Coral formations include colorful soft corals, massive table corals, and vibrant sponges. Wild sea turtles are frequently spotted on dives.

Dive Sites

The primary dive site is the reef system between Turtle Island and Tanjung Benoa, with depths of 5-18 meters. For certified divers, deeper sites are available further offshore with more advanced marine life encounters.

Pricing

Discover Scuba Diving: IDR 750,000 per person (includes equipment, instruction, and one guided dive). Certified divers: IDR 500,000 per dive (equipment rental additional). Package deals for multiple dives available.

Requirements and Safety

Minimum age 10 years for Discover Scuba. Must be in reasonable health (medical questionnaire required). All equipment is maintained to international standards. Maximum instructor-to-student ratio of 1:4 for beginners.
