This is why per-boat pricing is almost always the better deal for families and small groups. Two people pay IDR 250,000 each; a group of eight pays just over IDR 60,000 each. Per-person operators can look cheaper in a headline, then climb quickly once transfers and “extras” appear.

Hotel pickup: the second variable
Most of our guests stay in Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, or Seminyak, and transfer cost depends on your area. We run three car tiers, all with a private driver:

- Is this per boat or per person? The single biggest source of “I was overcharged” stories.
- Is the island donation included, or paid on arrival? Get the answer in writing.
- Is hotel pickup included — and from my area? Nusa Dua and Seminyak are very different drives.
- Private boat or shared? Shared can be fine for couples; families usually want private.
