Bali to Komodo Island 3D2N Tour — From Turtle Island Bali

Yes, you can combine Turtle Island Bali with Komodo National Park in one seamless trip. Labuan Bajo — the gateway to Komodo Island — is just a one-hour flight from Bali. Spend two days enjoying South Bali and the glass bottom boat to Turtle Island, then fly out for a 3-day, 2-night Komodo adventure: wild Komodo dragons, the Padar Island viewpoint, Pink Beach, and snorkelling at Manta Point. Because Turtle Island Bali is operated by Juara Holding Group — the same family behind Bali Premium Trip and the Komodo Luxury fleet — one team handles everything end-to-end: hotel pickups, flights guidance, boats, guides, and every handover in between. Message us on WhatsApp and we build the whole route around your dates.

Bali Is Just the Beginning

Most families we welcome in Tanjung Benoa are surprised by how close Komodo really is. The flight from Bali (DPS) to Labuan Bajo takes about one hour — shorter than the drive from Seminyak to Uluwatu in traffic. That means the same holiday that includes a gentle morning with sea turtles can also include one of the world’s great wildlife encounters: the Komodo dragon, found nowhere else on Earth.

Guests who book this combination usually follow a simple shape: two days of Bali highlights, then 3D2N in Komodo National Park, then back to Bali for a final beach day before flying home. It works beautifully for couples and for families with school-age children, and it turns a good Bali holiday into the trip your kids talk about for years.

Sample Itinerary: 2 Days Bali + 3D2N Komodo

This is our most-requested shape. Every trip is tailored — swap days freely, and see our tailored trip builder if you want to design your own version.

What You Will See in Komodo

Komodo Dragons

The world’s largest lizard, up to three metres long, walking wild across its native islands. All dragon encounters happen on marked trails with licensed national park rangers — a safe, well-run experience that children find unforgettable.

Padar Island

The short sunrise trek up Padar ends at the most photographed viewpoint in Indonesia: three curved bays — one white sand, one grey, one pink — spread out beneath you.

Pink Beach

One of only a handful of pink-sand beaches in the world, coloured by crushed red coral. Calm, shallow, and lovely for swimming.

Manta Point

A drift snorkel over a shallow cleaning station where reef manta rays gather. Sightings depend on season and conditions — our crews read the water daily and time your visit for the best chance.

One Company, End-to-End

The usual way to build a Bali + Komodo trip is to stitch together three or four separate operators and hope the handovers work. Ours is different. Juara Holding Group — operating Indonesian journeys since 2015 through Bali Premium Trip, Indonesia Juara Trip, and Komodo Luxury — runs both ends of this route with its own local teams.

  • One WhatsApp thread from first question to final airport drop-off — no being passed between agents.
  • Our own drivers in Bali, with three pickup-car tiers: Toyota Innova Zenix, Toyota Alphard, or the 7-seat electric Denza D9 (quoted on request).
  • The Komodo Luxury fleet in Labuan Bajo — our own boats and crews, not a subcontracted charter.
  • Real accountability. If a flight shifts or the weather turns, one team re-plans your whole route, not just their segment of it.

Landing in Bali first? Our VIP airport fast track (from USD 105 per person) gets your family through immigration and into the car quickly — a favourite with parents arriving on overnight flights.

Getting from Bali to Komodo Island

Daily direct flights connect Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) with Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo (LBJ) in about one hour. From the airport it is a short drive to the harbour, where your boat and crew are waiting. There is no need for an overnight liveaboard crossing from Bali itself — flying keeps the trip short, comfortable, and family-friendly. We advise on the best flight times for your itinerary and handle every ground transfer on both sides.

Pricing and How to Book

In Bali, our canon prices are simple: the private glass bottom boat to Turtle Island is IDR 500,000 per boat (up to 9 guests), tours start from IDR 150K per person, and our complete private full-day package — Alphard with driver included — is USD 100 per person. Komodo 3D2N itineraries are tailored to your dates, boat class, and cabin needs, so they are quoted on request via WhatsApp. Same-day and next-day requests for the Bali portion are often possible; Komodo needs a little more lead time for flights and cabins. Browse all tours and packages, or see packages with hotel pickup from Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, and Seminyak.

Beyond Komodo

Komodo is the classic first step beyond Bali — but not the only one. Riders and photographers love the Bali to Sumba adventure with its wild horses and Ratenggaro village, while divers rate Raja Ampat as the finest underwater destination anywhere. Frequently Asked Questions

How far is Komodo Island from Bali?

About one hour by direct flight from Bali (DPS) to Labuan Bajo (LBJ), the harbour town at the edge of Komodo National Park. Your boat departs from Labuan Bajo — there is no direct boat day trip from Bali itself.

Is the Komodo trip suitable for children?

Yes. Dragon walks are led by licensed park rangers on marked trails, the Padar trek is short, and Pink Beach is calm and shallow. Most of our Komodo guests are families and couples. Tell us your children’s ages and we pace the itinerary to suit them.

Can I do Komodo as a day trip from Bali instead of 3D2N?

It is technically possible, but we do not recommend it — a same-day return means most of your day in transit. The 3D2N format gives you Padar at sunrise, dragons before the crowds, and unhurried snorkelling.

Will I definitely see Komodo dragons and manta rays?

Dragons are seen on nearly every ranger walk on Komodo and Rinca islands. Manta rays are wild animals, so sightings depend on season and conditions — our crews choose the timing each day to give you the best chance. We never guarantee wildlife, and any operator who does is overselling.

How much does the combined Bali + Komodo trip cost?

The Komodo 3D2N portion is quoted on request via WhatsApp, because pricing depends on your dates, boat class, and group size. Bali-side prices are published: glass bottom boat IDR 500,000 per private boat, tours from IDR 150K per person, and the full private day package at USD 100 per person including Alphard and driver.

Do you handle the flights between Bali and Labuan Bajo?

We advise the best flight times for your itinerary and coordinate every pickup and transfer around them, so both ends of the journey connect smoothly. One WhatsApp thread covers your whole trip.

Ready to go beyond Bali? Send us your dates and group size, and we will map the whole route — Turtle Island to the dragons — in one reply.
